Welcome to our class! Our teacher is Mrs Stewart and our teaching assistants are Mrs Cordell and Mrs Rutland. We also get help from Miss Buller and Miss Cox. We love making friends and learning new things and try our best every day. Every day is busy, exciting and full of new learning.
First thing in the morning, we have a morning task then learn about amazing music, people and poems. We also have the chance to practice some new vocabulary. On a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we go to assembly with the whole school.
Next is Phonics where we learn and practise our sounds. We then have an English lesson, where we learn about stories, poems and non-fiction texts, and have a go at writing. Before break time we have snack time.
After break we use our problem solving and number skills in our Maths lessons. There are lots of resources to help us become Maths experts!
We are lucky enough to have specialist teachers who teach us in some areas of the curriculum. We learn history, geography, science, computing, art, life skills, outdoor learning, RE and French.
On a Thursday morning, we are taught Dance by Claire, Drama by Carrie, and Music by Mr Morley. These sessions help us develop our confidence for performing in front of an audience.
Thank you for taking the time to read about everything we do at school!
