Welcome to our Year 4/5 EB class page! We are a happy, friendly and hardworking class. When we work together, we can achieve wonderful things!

Miss Bowskill is our teacher, and we're very fortunate to have Mrs. Butler helping us too. We also learn from many fantastic teachers from different parts of the school.

Our mornings start with reading for pleasure and then culture connoisseurs. We then have collective worship, 3 mornings a week in the hall as a whole school and on a Thursday in class. English and maths is taught by Miss Bowskill, Miss Smith and Mr Gauld. We enjoy working with friends from other classes during these lessons.

In English, we learn new writing techniques to make our writing exciting. We also practice spelling and handwriting. In maths, we're getting better at problem-solving and developing our very important fluency with numbers.

Our afternoons are full of fun and learning from subject specialists. We love exploring different subjects with expert, passionate teachers. We are very lucky to have lessons such as geography, history, French, Art and DT and steel panning!

Friday mornings are exciting! We have choir rehearsals, outdoor education with Mr Gauld, or P4C. After break, we join our Gifted, Talented and Enrichment groups to develop our skills in a range of disciplines. Then, Friday afternoons are all about music, dance, and drama. We are very fortunate to have some fantastic specialist teachers for these lessons too!

“I love learning dance and drama at our school because so many Primary schools don’t teach it!”

We have many great opportunities to learn and grow in our new class and we're excited to see what the rest of the year brings!

“We all work hard to look after our classroom and look out for each other, in Miss Bowskill’s class”
