Thank you for visiting Bolero Class’s webpage. Miss Read is our teacher and Miss Cole is our fantastic teaching assistant . Together we make up a friendly, hardworking and safe class while we have fun and make the most of our learning opportunities. Every day is busy, full of a wide variety of lessons and subjects.
Our day starts learning about amazing music, people and poems. We also have the chance to practice some new vocabulary . Then we go to worship with the whole school or sometimes as a class.
Every day, we do English in our classes and then we go into our maths groups with the other 2/3 teachers.
One of the most amazing things about our school is that we get to work with many other teachers who are specialists in their subjects. We receive weekly French lessons from Mrs Bastable, and an art lessons from Mrs Smithers.
In addition, we have fortnightly computing lessons with Mr Cooper. Most of these sessions take place on iPads, which also allow us to practise our times tables and spellings using dedicated apps.
Every Thursday morning, we complete a full gamut of performing arts, including drama with Sam, dance with Claire and music with Mr Morley.
On Wednesdays week 2 we have PE, every Thursday we have performing arts and on week 2 Thursday we have Outdoor Ed. Please make sure children are dressed or have their clothes for these activities.
We are all looking forward to this exciting year ahead with all the adventures it holds.
