As part of the Local Authority’s resource provision, within our school is one of two Language and Literacy Centres. The Language and Literacy Centre (LAL) caters for pupils in Year 5 who have a Specific Learning Difficulty in relation to Literacy. Children from as many as twenty-four local schools visit us weekly to benefit from the qualified staff and large variety of resources. Pupils attend the centre after a referral from the Cognition and Learning Team.
