Amani Taresh, an international PhD research student at the University of Reading, spent the morning working alongside 21 of our gifted and talented art students.
It is invaluable for the children to meet people from different backgrounds and occupations who can offer new skills, knowledge and experiences.. This workshop provided our students with a fascinating insight into a traditional Al Sadu weaving technique, which they previously knew little about, whilst also giving them an opportunity to question their own personal cultural perceptions. We were incredibly grateful for Amani coming in to work alongside our students and wish her well with her continued research.
